Stuff the Turkey!

Run a school-wide food drive with a "Stuff the Turkey" campaign! Start at the beginning of November and run it as long as needed. Wrap large pieces of brown butcher paper around a large trash can to crate the body of the turkey. Add a large head and big paper feathers to the back. It is sure to draw attention, and more importantly, become a gathering place for donated food items for your local food pantry.
