FIELD TRIP/HEALTH
The Need to Drink Water!

Visit a local doctor or invite one to come into your classroom to talk to your students about the need to replenish the moisture lost from the body when we perspire. He or she can talk about why we sweat and what we can do to help our bodies when we do. This is an especially important lesson for students to learn as the weather starts heating up. It is more likely that they will listen to the advice of a doctor or nurse rather than just their teacher!
