SERVICE LEARNING
"How I Contributed" Book

Submitted by: I Love That Teaching Idea! Staff
From: SLC, Utah
Date Submitted: September 15, 2001

When raising money for a cause, we encourage students to earn the money themselves that they want to donate. This concept empowers children by earning, rather than asking, and by giving, rather than receiving. Download the following page and duplicate for your students, thus making a classroom log of your contributions. This page allows them to keep track of how they earned their contribution, thus reminding themselves of the good feelings that accompany helping others.
