Love That Teaching Idea! Staff You should start this fun activity a couple of weeks before Halloween. While the children are at recess, surprise several students with a small treat on their desk attached to a paper ghost. (see pattern) Watch their faces light up as soon as they re-enter the room! Those who were chosen now have a new task. They are to think about 2 friends that they would like to leave a treat on their desk the next day. (Write a note home to parents explaining this activity beforehand.) The next day while students are out at recess, those students can then surprise someone else with a ghost and treat.
