Make
an oval with air-dry red clay. Fold up part of the oval to make a pocket and a
top single layer. With a pencil, make two holes on each side of the top. Then
have the students sign and date. Collect wild flowers and hang upside down to
dry. Place flowers in the pocket. Use macrame string to make a hanger throught
the holes on the top. Moms love this.
You
can also use items to make decorative designs in the clay. (buttons, washers,
end of spools of thread, leaves,etc...)
